Used these for the first time when I had to drive early in the day for a meeting several hours away. That morning there was heavy fog and these seemed to lighten the fog and provide more visibility. They aren't quite what I remember for oncoming headlight protection, but they do provide some coverage and for those with light colored eyes or that may be light sensitive, they are a wonderful asset to any vehicle.Nice caeHelps reduce glare at night from headlights. Rainy night driving is better too.I ordered these glasses based on reviews on the chance I would finally get a pair of night glasses that work I ordered the brown looking ones to be honest I was going to send them back and get the black frames the brown was way lighter than the pic almost brass-bronze looking my wife don’t like them on me nor do I but had to drive that night so I thought well might as well see how they do I honestly wasn’t expecting much I have a dozen pairs of assorted night glasses that don’t work well let me tell you what I put these things on and they were life changing I though I was a teenager again I could see so good at night it was amazing I never drive at night unless I have to because I just can’t see so the next morning when I left it was dreary and raining so I put these puppies on and great day in the morning it was like high definition I’d like to send them back to exchange for the black pair but I I feel so much safer wearing them I just can’t stand the thought of not having them even for a few days they have become part of my truckI only tested these while driving during the day and at night.So distant if all, these are not HD. I compared multiple objects with then on/off and not once did I see better with them on.I tried these during the day when it was cloudy/blue sky and it overexposed everything. Wearing nothing was definitely better but I went to normal sunglasses. I think the problem is that these are super light yellow and don’t really reflect the light. Maybe they need to be much darker yellow or I read even the amber/orange ones might work but not sure.So the reason I got these was for night driving and I was excited for this test. It was pitch black and 1000 cars on the road, so perfect time to see if these were worth the purchase. It was an immediate no. It just made the headlights a yellow tint but they were all still bright. When I took them off the headlights had the sharp white/blue hid lights but these glasses didn’t dim anything/reduce any glare and just made everything a bright yellow light. Did it feel better than staring at bright white lights? A little bit but now I was more distracted by the blinding yellow lights. This also did nothing to the street lights and reducing the halo or fuzz they had. The only change I noticed was everything was yellow now. Nothing was HD nor was any of the glare reduced. Requesting a refund but I’m not sure what’s next. I found that these were supposed to be the best based on numerous lists stating these were the top choices but yellow is not the answer.There was only a very slight improvement concerning a decrease in glare. I was hoping it would cut the glare to a larger extent. I believe I could have paid less and have the same result. Disappointed.I only recently found out my astigmatism was why lights were so bright and stripey during nighttime and immediately researched and found these. WHAT A GODSEND. No more lines of lights, I barely have to squint anymore, I can see even more clearly in the gray, dreary rain, PLUS it’s really helpful when I have to go places that have fluorescent lights too (I’m also autistic, so have general light sensitivity as well). The arms bend so don’t squeeze your head too tight and they don’t feel heavy on the nose. I bought 2 pairs so I’ll never be without!It' all good They live up to the purpose.
