We bought this for my dad for fathers day for his bourbon room and he loves it. One note - if the top is on tight the whiskey doesn't flow so you do have to leave a little room for air so the liquid flows when pouring. The quality of the glass and the wood is excellent!Perfect size - but so glad we didn’t gift it. Would hate to give that to someone and it leak everywhere!!!Great concept, but the decanter was very cheap. The spout where the liquid comes out was loose, and not sealed completely. Also the cart itself has a spot on the front that wasn’t completely painted.Disappointed for as much money as I spent on it. Also gave it as a gift to a client, so unfortunate to not be at the standard it should be.I ordered this as a last minute gift & (stupidly) did not open it to check it out prior to wrapping it. Cute concept, but it's actually quite junky, to be honest. It presents far better in pictures as opposed to in person. Looks cheap, feels cheap, almost like a kid's toy. For added disappointment, when the gift recipient opened it, it was chipped, & missing paint on the front, as well. Was really excited to receive it and gift it to him and wanted to check the item to make sure the quality would be as promised before gifting it. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. This product features poor assembly (very wobbly) and, although it came smelling like it was newly painted, the product out of the box looks old and faded. The paint job on this is unacceptable, there are scratches and dings, and the decanter absolutely DOES NOT hold 850 mL. More like 350-450 mL tops. It also is missing a top to the decanter so it’s basically unusable. The only (very slightly) redeemable part of this product are the whiskey glasses. Other than that, this item came very dusty, the structure does not seem stable, it’s missing a part, and it looks like it was assembled in a hurry with missed areas of paint. See included pictures. Not worth the money and would not recommend.It is wooden and fairly well made. The topFoam circles were glued in crooked and no way to straighten without ripping the thin foam … the decanter itself is glass and looked great except when trying to use it it will not pour out… no air hole to assist it’s flow. Bad design flaw? glasses are very heavy and super nice…. So overall not terrible but could be better.
