I've always been a firm believer that having an office job and sitting in front of a computer all day causes a greater number of health issues than we realize, and definitely more than we're told about. I mean let's face it at the very least, the human body is definitely not engineered to be stuck in front of a computer in a little cubicle all day. We are designed to be wanderers. We are built to be hunter-gatherers. We are engineered to be "movers". Now keeping that in mind consider your eyes. Our eyes are designed to support the those basic primal functions wandering, hunter-gathering, moving. They are built to be used to judge various distances see near see far see in different lighting all sorts of variety. So we take that wonderful adaptability and we sit two feet in front of a computer screen and stare at the same consistent lighting the same distance for years on end. If I were my eyes I'd be unhappy. Couple years ago I got a new computer for work and I was playing with some settings and it came across the night mode. I accidentally stumbled upon how to reduce the blue light being emitted from my but instantly felt like there was a benefit there and left it that way I left the night mode on all the time. I had no idea what blue light was at the time. Fast forward a couple years and I seen article about blue light and how the blue light wavelengths are more aggressive on your eyes buying something new why I like the night mode on my computer then. But there are other features of the night mode that weren't necessarily useful and could be kind of annoying during the day. Now there's a medical issue that has the potential of a secondary impact to my eyesight so I see an ophthalmologist at least twice a year. I've been blessed to avoid any negative impact to my eyesight in fact I have better than 20/20 vision in both eyes. I'm also close enough to 50 years old that I can supply paper copies of all my appliance warranties on demand, so I appreciate the value of still having vision of somebody who's much younger than I am and I want to protect that. My opthamologist recommended I'd look into blue blockers. So I started doing some research confirming that there is indeed science behind the reasoning and to better understand what's going to work for me. Let me search a mixed bag of feedback and experiences complaints of yellow lenses doubts and quality or if there's a sufficient amount of blue blocking to make a difference. I learned that blue locking can work the key is you need to have enough blue blocking to make a difference and with that you'll probably have some yellow tint to your lens if you don't then you're not getting sufficiently blocking. The benefit of thorough research and thorough product reviews, and a natural eye for style LOL, led me to this product. The percentage of blue blocking is definitely high enough to give your eyes some "Ahhhhs". Having a position strategic consulting role requiring frequent face-to-face interaction with external clients means professionalism in my appearance. These are perfect for me.They provide a sufficient level of blocking to create a relief that your eyes feel without a heavy yellow tint to the lens so you avoid looking like Bono. No offense to Bono but in a professional office environment wearing pseudo sunglasses is not always inappropriate choice. If you really look for it, you may be able to actually see some of the yellow tinting in the lenses, but again you have to really look it's not obvious. People don't look at you and see yellow glasses. So on my first attempt I found the right pair of glasses that provides beneficial strain relief to my eyes with a stylish professional aesthetic. There is opportunity to improve the anti-glare. At times the glad reminds me of lenses that you might have seen on television in the 1980s.The size is perfect for allowing them to maintain a minimal profile so people don't get distracted by your glasses when they look at you. The clean lines small size and clear lenses make them versatile with any outfit or occasion. These were the first pair that I tried and the only pair that I need. For five stars please improve the anti-glare
