Just received them an hour ago. I wanted to test if they're truly polarized and UV protected using at home methods from YouTube as reference. But first.Frame.Pros:1) When in the closed position, the arms do not rest on the lenses at all.2) The temple hinges are well designed and have spring tension to it. They will swing outward to accommodate a larger face. Overtime, the hinges won't lossen up nor have a up and down slop.3) The frame is metal type and not magnetic.4) The nose bridge is metal wire type with rubber pads that'll rest on your nose. The wire is secured to the frame via small screws.5) glasses will not fall off your face should you have to bend over...(get your mind out the gutter)..hahaCons:1) The metal wire nose bridge can be bent side to side or pushed in closer to the frame from storage or regular use.Lens: Pros:1) lens appears to be fitted into the frame where it doesn't look like the lens will not pop out when dropped, etc.2) lens IS polarized. (Youtube how to test polarized and UV sunglasses at home). Simple test is to face your phone or LCD tv. Rotate your glasses in a circular motion and you should see where there's a light and dark view. Another test is to go outside and view a window pane at an angle. Doing same method, you should observe same results as above.3) not 100% sure if UV protected. I used a Olight UV pocket light and A California drivers license. Naked eye you will not see the thumbnail picture center of the license of your actual license picture. Using UV light, the picture is extremely visible. Using the glasses as a filter in between the light and license the lens blocked out the UV light maybe 80-85%. The thumbnail was still visible. I used my Spy brand glasses for comparison and it completely blocked the UV light. I want to mention the light was directly on top of the license during the test. I noticed if I shined the light off center to the license these glasses blocked out more UV. So not quite sure to make out of it.Cons:1) tapping on the lens, it felt like cheap material. Like a very thin polycarbonate.2) finger prints easily left on the lens.I bought these because I was looking for budget friendly quality glasses for a future trip to the Philippines. They fit well for my wide face. I will be abusing these glasses at the pool, at the beach and from everyday use in the heat and hope it stops raining. They seem ok for my purpose. I will give a follow up review after my 3 month trip in January 2023, if they still hold up.Hope this review helps you out. I would buy again for this price.
