This rug is exactly what I was looking for. I needed a low pile or flat weave rug to layer over an apartment wall-to-wall carpet but under another thicker 6 x 9 wool rug I have in my bedroom. So it needed to be heavy enough to lay flat and not buckle or shift on the installed carpet, but not too thick to cause a big bump/tripping hazard under the other area rug. On top of all that, I needed it to be SQUARE and specifically measure 6x6 or 7x7. PLUS I wanted something in the Scandi design feel.This rug came rolled (so no annoying fold creases to worry about never going away) and it was well packaged with an interior shrinkwrap to keep it clean and a harder exterior plastic to protect it from punctures and delivery wear. No box, which I liked to reduce waste and my trips to the recycling center. Even at its 7'x7' rolled size, it was lightweight and flexible enough for me to just toss over my shoulder and carry it down a long dirt driveway and up a flight of stairs without even breaking a sweat.It's beautiful. The geometric designs are embroidered on the surface of the weave so there is a bit of raised texture but it is low profile and doesn't add any bulk. The overall value of the blue background is slightly darker in real life and I was looking for a lighter blue background but it's not a dealbreaker because it's such a pretty rug design. It "really ties the room together", lol.I deducted one star because there were faded but visible HOT PINK chalk lines marking the embroidery pattern that quality control didn't fully cover with the embroidery design and/or wash off before packing it up. I rubbed them and they will fade - probably with the first vacuum or just foot traffic. Again, not permanent marks, thankfully, but made me freak out for a minute when I saw hot pink lines everywhere and still detracted from this being a 5-star review. Overall, I love this rug!
