my husband had LASIK over 20 years ago, with one eye adjusted for distance & the other for close up. he has been ecstatic living his life without glasses since then. unfortunately, late last year, he was diagnosed with a rare form of ocular (eye) cancer in his close up eye. the radiation treatment left him blind in that eye and as his treatment isn't complete, he didn't want to get Rx glasses yet. my bright idea was to try readers to make his life easier and safer... but he hates wearing glasses and finds fault with every pair he tried... until these.they're sturdy, well-made & comfortable on his (big man) head. he's also quite handsome in them. glad I took a chance on buying him readers online....now he has no excuse when I need his help with something detailed, like painting or reading instructions.they look good on, are scratch resistant, feel sturdy, seem very well-made, and do the job they're designed to do. price is nice too.
